Mama's Apple Maple Quiche


  • 1 package GATC Apple Maple Turkey Sausages
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 low carb pie crust or whatever crust you’d prefer
  • 10 ounces fresh spinach
  • 1 cup white onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar, shredded
  • 6 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 5 dashes of hot sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Follow your pie crust baking instructions. Allow the crust to cool completely before adding any eggs.
  3. Add 2 tbsp olive oil to a sauté pan over medium heat. Add turkey and cook covered for 7-10 minutes. Turn-over every 2 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165 °F. Remove from pan and let rest for 3 minutes.
  4. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and onion to skillet and cook until translucent (about 5 to 7 minutes).
  5. Add spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
  6. Place cooked veggies on paper towels to collect any access liquid.
  7. Dice the sausages and add the turkey, onions, and spinach to the pie crust.
  8. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs, then add cream, hot sauce, salt, pepper, and cheese. Stir to combine.
  9. Pour mixture into the pie crust.
  10. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until it’s cooked through. You’ll know the quiche is done when the top begins to brown.
  11. Allow quiche to cool slightly before serving.
